Swimming Pool Construction & Installation Process
Our General Steps
Excavation
At this stage we establish the shape and necessary dimensions of your swimming pool and put in a hole larger than the pools perimeter. We will also determine in consultation with you how we will use the soil during this process.
Reinforce Walls Using Rebar
This stage is meant to strengthen the pool to help with its stability, structural integrity and durability
Pump & Plumbing
At this stage we want to seamlessly install the system that will pump your pool water efficiently. We use quality pipes which will complement the insulated concrete form shell we will place in your pool. Testing happens after this where we establish the right amount of pressure the pump will take to allow for a sturdy pool and pipe system.
Install ICF Concrete Shell
After the pipe and plumbing process, we spray and shape out the insulated concrete forms. We use screens to avoid over spraying and making sure that we leave your house clean and as we found it.
Preservation & Curing
To ensure the strength and durability of the insulated concrete form shell, it's critical to allow it to cure. This takes about 2-3 weeks to ensure it's done properly.
Pool Coping Installation
Insulated concrete form gives you a seamless transition between the pool deck and the coping. Coping is the material above the tile line that generally covers the top of the pool structure which is ideal if you want a cleaner line and no break in the finish around the pool. This makes the pool look bigger, which is ideal if you have a small pool area.
Patio Installation
We use concrete hardscapes for this stage after placing the insulated concrete form shell. We have various options of stones you can use in the area surrounding your pool and we go over your choices.
Testing & Starting the Swimming Pool
We go through all the details that you will need to know in terms of the best practices to operate your completed swimming pool. Before filling the pool with water we will check the ranges to make certain that it is acceptable with you over the next couple of weeks.
